Moving Forward

Since March I have been barely running at all, instead just trying to focus on getting my shins to feel better. In the last month or so I have been doing a little bit of running in super cushy road shoes while staying slow on relatively flat trails on the top of the canyon. It really sucks. The highlight of my spring running season was seeing a bobcat a few weeks ago. It's been really tough to watch everyone building up and doing all day runs in the canyons while I do pretty much nothing. My shins do seem to be getting better though and I think I will be able to start building by the end of this month and hopefully still have lots of long days on my feet through the summer.
